More ‘big city cred’ from Mexico’s president

Prince Andrew visited the Biltmore and the Phoenix media make a big deal. Meanwhile, Mexican President Felipe Calderon is visiting Boston, New York, LA, even Sacramento, discussing immigration and economic ties. Note he didn’t come to "the nation’s fifth-largest city," even though it has a large immigrant population and is at the epicenter of the debate. His U.S. visit is largely ignored by Phoenix media. Phoenix does itself no favors by being known as a place that hates immigrants and is otherwise of little account in the global economy.
