Today the Times finally reports on the February endorsement of John McCain by preacher John Hagee, who, among other things, said New Orleans deserved Hurricane Katrina because of its "level of sin." He considers the Roman Catholic Church "the great whore of Babylon." It was an endorsement sought by McCain, who also considers Rev. Rod Parsley his "spiritual adviser." Parsley argues American has a divine mission to eradicate Islam. Anyway, the Times headline is: "For McCain, Little Talk of a Controversial Endorsement."
The story appears in page A-18. This from a newspaper that reported extensively, and on page one, about Sen. Obama’s "preacher problem."
Maybe there’s "little talk" because the corporate media won’t report on the real John McCain.
