Danica Patrick and I have designed a new look for my author page. Check it out.
Nice. One of the images is replaced by the little x placeholder. Their (GoDaddy’s) SuperBowl ads were lame. Their ad agency is evidently full of adolescent boys (I already figure the execs at GoDaddy are adolescent boys).
Very nice, Mr. Talton. Now if only Ms. Patrick would lend a hand to the redesign of the Rogue Columnist website, starting with that malproportioned title/caption bar and its low-contrast lettering.
You see, I have this odd notion — Ms. Patrick may or may not agree — that the purpose of a title bar is to: (a) identify the site at a glance, and (b) catch the attention of the reader.
Others may have differing ideas: for instance, that eyestrain is a successful marketing strategy, best exhibited by a typeface which suggests that it’s time to change the ribbon on the Smith-Corona.
