Housekeeping

I have an August 1st book deadline and too many obligations. So I am cutting back on Rogue posts, but still hoping you'll stop by. Generally I will now make new posts on Tuesdays and Fridays (hey, Kunstler only posts once a week, and I am half as good).

There's still much to read, including the Rogue archives, which are categorized; the Front Page, which contains some of the most compelling journalism out there, and the City Desk, a report on urban issues. Arizona's Continuing Crisis and Kookocracy Watch will also be updated as reality erupts.

I'm mindful of the thousands who visit the site regularly. So please don't go away.

I’ll continue to drop in: by all means do continue to update your Front Page links as usual: it’s an excellent and useful feature of your site. There are about a million websites with news links but none with the targeted discrimination to be found here.

P.S. One feature I’d really like to see implemented is the addition of an archival listing of old Front Page links. That way, if a story scrolls off too quickly, or I want to go back and have anothing look at something whose link I didn’t save at the time, or just want to get an overview of the stories linked to over time, it would be a snap.
Several times now, I saw something I wanted to read, but only had time to come back to it later: and when I did, the link was no longer listed. That isn’t a criticism, because old links shouldn’t stay on the Front Page TOO long. A discrete button giving the archival listing of links would solve this.
